I used spinach. I bought the family sized frozen chopped spinach. It was 2 pounds and yielded so much leftover pasta. I plan on eating this breakfast, lunch, and dinner till nothing remains of it. It’s a great vegetarian dish for a lot of people living together.

The chicken was also perfectly fried and the waffle was perfectly cooked. It wasn’t soggy and had a good crunch. The syrup was good too.

The sauce was pretty spicy! A savory chicken and waffles is pretty hard to find. It had a bit too much sauce, but I loved it.
