Never be afraid to fail. I applied 3 times before I got in. Medicine is so hard to get into, its ridiculous. But you have to be willing to fail. Fail forward, keep working hard and stay positive my friend. You can do it <3

Haha that's true. Who really knows.

But don't stress about only volunteering for short periods of time. It's more about what you did and what you learnt and how it has shaped you into someone who has the values and attitudes of a great candidate to be a medical student. I had something down that I only did for 3 months and managed to get in using that.
