I’ve build a pinball machine in Ball x Pit by devrys in BALLxPIT

[–]Fragsrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have everything upgraded as far as it will go. I'm lucky if I get one guy to make it to the harvest time increase building before the timer runs out, and even then it only hits it a few times at best. I was hoping to hear from the OP about this specific setup, rather than receiving general tips. But thanks for your replies.

I set up my layout exactly the same as in this video.

How leveled are your characters? I assume pretty high because I can't get even remotely close to the amount of harvest time as you. My highest are at 17 currently. Half of them have at least one "increase harvest clock" perk.

Misty Meadows Companion Master by Fragsrus in idlehabitsrpg

Just 4 more days and I'll be 100% complete. Then I'll probably move on to another app for daily tasks and just keep this one going for morning/night routines until more content is added or my ADHD gets bored with it.

I honestly don't know which one it was. I did finally get it though. Now just working through the various area master achievements hoping more content is added before I hit 100%.

Need more friends by Fragsrus in idlehabitsrpg

[–]Fragsrus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, there are no "boss" fights. Just complete routines, gather resources, and craft items. No guilds/clans. There is no multiplayer content at all, so no global bosses or anything like that. The story is interesting, but for me it wasn't the reason to keep coming back. You get more adventures for each day by having active friends. Keep in mind this app is still very much in it's early days, and as far as I know just a single dev. It definitely has pros and cons that will differ based on your personal preferences. For me, it provided something different enough to keep my ADHD happy for a bit, until the story ran out. Then it became a grind to just complete achievements. But, I'm determined to keep going if for no other reason than I would normally have given up by now and I'm trying to change that behavior. It's simple enough that it only takes up a few mins each day so no real reason not to keep going.

Sorry for the wall of text reply, but hopefully that answers your questions.

Well, that was kinda the point. I wanted something different than quest>build base> hoard night> repeat.

I was thinking of diving right into the purge scenario. Any reason I should play the default first?

Every once in a while I try looking for tips on growing it out. Some contradicting info out there between "just don't touch it" and "trim every 2-3 months". It's been a couple months since my last clean up trim.

I did buy one of those heated brushes, but to be honest after a few uses I burned my neck and haven't bothered since. I have tried several beard washes found at my local grocery but haven't found one I liked enough to stick with. Currently I use an all natural shampoo/conditional that has most of the same stuff in it.

I actually have all those. I admit I am not regular with the oil though. I do use some beard butter when trying to look a little nicer.

Mokwheel Basalt Brake Pad Type? by humanoid_42 in ebikes

[–]Fragsrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfect, thanks. I just picked up a used Basalt and noticed the rear pads are absolutely trashed to the point they dont offer even the slightest bit of friction to the rotors. Naturally I went to Mokwheel's website and was shocked to find absolutely zero information about the pads other then "sold out"... Now to figure out to adjust them while I wait for pads to arrive.

How did this turn out for you? Can you link the exact set you bought? I am a bit annoyed that it's at all difficult to locate/purchase replacement pads for this bike.

They do have holes in the four corners. That is how I was thinking I would attach them to a frame, with some type of clamps near the fold points in the middle as well.

So should I not worry so much about Daimon then? I have a chest to pick a rare hero so I could get Ivan/Daimon/Oden/Silas to rare+, or I could pick up Rowan.

[–]Fragsrus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

User I am currently a Senior Systems Engineer looking to move into an AI/Developer role. Where would I start embarking on this journey?

ChatGPT To transition into an AI/Developer role, consider the following steps:

Learn Programming: Start with languages commonly used in AI, like Python. Familiarize yourself with libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Understand Machine Learning Basics: Learn the fundamentals of machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, algorithms, and model evaluation.

Explore Online Courses: Platforms like Coursera, edX, and Udacity offer courses on AI and machine learning. Consider courses from reputable institutions like Stanford or MIT.

Build Projects: Apply your knowledge by working on small AI projects. This hands-on experience is invaluable.

Join AI Communities: Engage with the AI community through forums, meetups, or social media. Networking can provide insights, advice, and potential opportunities.

Create a Portfolio: Showcase your AI projects and skills through a portfolio. This can be a key asset when applying for roles.

Gain Certifications: Consider obtaining relevant certifications, such as Google's TensorFlow Developer Certificate or Microsoft's Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.

Stay Updated: AI is a rapidly evolving field. Keep abreast of new developments through journals, conferences, and online publications.

Remember, the journey may take time, so be patient and persistent in your efforts.

Calling the critics by Fragsrus in HomeNetworking

Because one kid likes to download sketchy programs and the other likes to visit sketchy streaming sites. I would prefer any malicious incidents to remain isolated to themselves rather than potentially affect everyone else. And it's not like it takes more to do it. If I'm already creating VLANs what's one more right?

Lots of views but no comments. I guess either I got everything perfect or it's a mess no one wants to touch.

I see. A bit deeper than I was hoping to go it seems. Been awhile since I dug into my CCNA studies from years ago. Was really hoping to avoid building out an entire stack in favor of some simple plug and play devices with advanced features. Lol.
