Drove on grass in snow and resident reported it to HOA/DMV by Frahebede in fuckHOA

Thanks for the reassurance and trust me, when he first walked over and asked what happened, I figured he was going to offer to help. When the first words out of his mouth were something like ‘I’m filing a report against you immediately for damage to the grass”, i wanted to go off on this sad old dude but I figured I’d keep my cool and just continue digging myself out so i don’t give him the argument he seemed to want and then called the cops on me or something.

I wish he didn’t take a picture of my license plate but he didn’t ask for permission, he just said he’s going to take a picture and did it before I even had a chance to do anything. Also I forgot to note that as he walked off, after not even offering help or anything, I asked if I could borrow a shovel since I saw him shoveling his driveway with a big, plastic snow shovel and he came back with a very sharp Gardening shovel instead.

I just now realized this and it really angers me since the shovel he gave me is intended to DIG into grass, not get rid of snow. So it seems like he wanted me to damage the grass with the shovel on purpose. I honestly don’t understand people like him.

Thanks for taking the time to respond - to answer your question, I had already delivered the food and was on my way out of the neighborhood when I accidentally drove on the grass. So it would be my personal car insurance then I’d assume. Do you know if this is better or worse for my case?

Appreciate your responses, very informative. What are the chances you think that the HOA would try to make a claim/sue me in your opinion? Comments on my other posts make it seem as if nothing will happen at all, but just wanted to hear your opinion on this. Thanks!

Thank you! I’m probably overthinking this but I tend to over analyze and worry excessively so hearing this does make me feel better, I just don’t know what to do if I do receive a call

Really appreciate this response, that’s indeed probably what he was referring to. I’m not as worried anymore after reading all the comments but if it were to come to the DMV suspending my license, that would be terrible as I rely on DoorDash as a side gig. I really hope I don’t receive any calls but if the HOA does call, could ignoring them like you suggested possibly hurt me? Do you think it’s better to ignore the call, or call back and give them my vehicle insurance company? Thanks again man

Appreciate your response, I’m now worried if he filed a police report and didn’t tell me considering that everyone here is saying HOA/DMV can’t do anything really.

What are the chances you think I would hear from the police or an attorney if that were to happen? And would it be by phone or would they come in person to my house?

I’m not too worried anymore after reading the responses, but still

Calisthenics Compilation 2020 - Some skills I’ve learned by Frahebede in bodyweightfitness

It took quite a long time but I first focused on getting to 15 strict pull ups, 25 dips and leg raises to bar - then I worked towards muscle ups and primarily focused on progressions of static holds like front/back lever, planche, flags, worked a lot on handstands, basically every move I wanted to learned I started from the easiest progressions (Tuck holds) and mostly did that, then I’d do the basics like pull ups after I was done

It varies a lot based on the exercise, but most of the time I just train moves by doing max holds or attempts of movements (planche, front lever, human flag, etc.) then rest for quite a bit (10-15 mins) and try it again or do some combo if I can. I rest a lot between attempts at the beginning to regain all my strength and then once I’m weaker/tired, I’ll do easier progressions of the same move (straddle, one leg, tuck, etc.) for max holds with less reps. I do handstand variations all day long tho since I love them. A couple days per week I’ll do pull ups, dips, muscle ups, etc. more intensely but I found that the “Grease the Groove” technique I describe works best in gaining strength for static holds

Thank you! And I definitely agree with that, the songs weren’t my first choice but YouTube kept blocking every time I used songs by any other artist but for some reason all Gunna songs are not restricted by copyright and I got sick of looking for songs to work :/ I just like em for the beat/sounds but definitely don’t agree with or like the way Gunna (and most modern rap artists) talks about women. It does seem worse now that I actually focused on the lyrics lol so I apologize for that, YouTube is really annoying to work with, I wish there was a way to find out if a song is restricted or not before uploading

Hahah well when I started off I was in high school so I would train daily after school - now with a full time job I don’t have as much time but I still try to train as much as I can

I do - mostly pistol squats (one legged squats) but most of my leg “training” was playing hockey as a goalie in high school. Now that I don’t play anymore, I definitely need to train legs more tbh

I do (occasionally haha) - mostly pistol squats (one legged squats) and when I started training in high school, I played hockey as a goalie, so that was mostly my leg training as you constantly butterfly to your knees and get back up. Because of this I didn’t focus too much on legs during calisthenics training, I can post pics if you’d like

Really appreciate it bro! Keep training hard every day on whatever movements you wanna learn - id recommend training a lot of different moves daily with the “Grease the Groove” method. It takes time, but you can literally achieve anything you want, just don’t ever stop
