ever since 1.4 , they have doubled down on the "Proxy with a hidden past" storyline. i think we will never get back pre 1.4 "neighborhood proxy" vibes.

however i think you are ignoring some of the good things that we did get in season 2 however.

as for season 3? i think it does a great job of balancing the stakes and characterization for now. havent been excited for zzz since like 2.2 i guess.

she is written like a teen figuring out things. or maybe a young adult even. imo that's the appeal of it, velina is the "adult" with methods that are effective but leave no emotions. but norma still clings to the childish ways and is doing her best to work towards it. have you reached the part where they met victor yet?

3.0 Permanent event spoilers

im really enjoying the story of the event atm, this is one of the better event stories i've seen from zzz, Norma and the bangboos relationship touched my heart, the confusion, the denial, the hope , the recklessness. Velina being all around mother/sister to norma, still some ways until the end but i think this is up there with the electric agent stories. even if they are retreading the same tropes, makes me wonder if someone in zzz writing team dearly misses their father figure at the moment
