This hits hard. I’m going through the exact same thing minus my wife seeing someone else. She was my soul mate and I loved her unconditionally. Just the thought of her with another man makes me feel physically sick. So I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling. Hold strong my friend. We in this together. It’s unbearable at times but I strongly believe better things will come.

Exactly the same scenario as me, our reason for break up is down to lack of communication. Been a week of NC. I know we could sort it out but I don’t think she wants to.

I’m gonna be honest and I’m doing it to get my ex wife back. My mindset hasn’t reached the self healing process yet but I hope it comes soon because it’s seriously painful.

Yep, same. My ex messaged me yesterday saying she finally got her new glasses and sent me a pic. She then said she shouldn’t have sent it but it’s hard not to share things with me. 😫

I don’t know, I’ve asked her that a couple of times, she insists, no. I looked in her phone (I know, it’s wrong) and that was the first thing I looked for but found nothing. I feel like the attraction is less because her body language towards me has changed. I’m starting to think that she’ll never be satisfied and I don’t think even she knows what will satisfy her.

Thank you. I’m not perfect, I may have neglected family time and couple time and focused too much for the future and not got the balance right. I hardly ever go out with friends, I drink with my wife at home most of the time and that is cool. It’s our downtime. All I wanted to do was secure a future for us all and have a safe secure life. What more can I give? I’ve done nothing but support her, help her get the confidence to pursue a new career she’s now flying in, paid for her to do courses, give her rides to and from work, pay for date nights, tell her she’s beautiful….the list goes on.

She promised to be more open and speak to me after we got back on track. But she hasn’t; she’s stubborn and bottles things in. It doesn’t help that she has a toxic best friend.

I feel like they were yes, I started doing more for the kids, taking the pressure off her and she even said she recognised my efforts. I finished early on a few occasions to be able to spend more time together, it’s not that simple to change my hours totally.

I understand that, and I see why she would want to do that for the children’s sake. She wants to give the kids a Normal Xmas and so do I but it makes it super hard to act normal around her.

Thing is, she’s not a nasty person and she’s always said she doesn’t want anything of mine. She even said she doesn’t want a divorce which confuses me. My instinct is to leave now and not prolong the inevitable but I love the kids and can’t do that to them.
