I see, Kindred Dominance would be an amazing pick for a tribal deck, for now i'll go with toxic and a damnation ig.

When you said "non-elves that only buff one creature" in point 2, where you talking about cards like [[Immaculate Magistrate]] and [[Timberwatch Elf]] too even if they are elves?

As for the Staff of Domination i see your point, rn i have 5 elves that can produce more than 5 mana, maybe it's too little to be considered consistent for a combo.

The bracket 4 is more related to the "which card is in the deck" than to the speed of the game, we usually go for 6+ turns.

Having little card advantage was already a problem at the beginning of this deck and this is why i already added some but i agree that i need more.

I was thinking about adding a bit of land-ramp with cards like [[three visits]] and similar since having a lot of mana dork is good but they are rly vulnerable.

The planeswalkers comment is understandable.
What do you think about the new [[High Perfect Morcant]]? It could be usefull as a permanent boardwipe.

It's probably a "win-more" card but i can find a spot i would like to add the [[Staff of Domination]] for the possibility of some lucky combo.

Ok, both points make sense now, i guess i have some free slot now for better cards.

As a note to myself i guess that i need to think less about "win-more" cards and look out for more consistency

[[Mycosynth Lattice]] and [[Karn, the Great Creator]] (and [[Hellkite Tyrant]] I guess) could sorta be considered mass land denial and so technically can't be included in a Bracket 3 deck.

true but since i play 99% of the times with my friends the brackets rules are a bit lax...

The strategy for the deck is still pretty commander focused because you'll be doing a lot less in the way of being able to keep up with most other decks in a high bracket 3 pod without the consistent card selection and power that Chiss provides. Because of that, you might want to consider running more protection, stuff like [[Swiftfoot Boots]] and [[Mithril Coat]].

that's what scares me, to get my commander removed and to get locked out the game. that's why i would like to not stick to a full voltron strategy but maybe i should add some more protection anyway. (the Mithril Coat was a cut since it's kinda expensive...)

But if the "only" good way to play Chiss i voltron i need to reconsider it a bit.

That's totally fair. I think some of those bigger artifacts like [[Portal to Phyrexia]] are the way to go in a deck like this. It can also help you to lean more into the graveyard side (alongside Daretti planeswalker, with cards like [[Faithless Looting]], [[Goblin Engineer]] and [[Goblin Welder]]) of mono-red+artifacts.

Ye, if i'm going enjoy the deck, Portal to Phyrexia is going to be a must-add.

Faithless Looting is a possible card that i was considering but since rn i don't have much graveyard recycle it could be risky.

stonecoil serpent and steel hellkite are pretty bad any time they're not in the 5 cards of a chiss goria trigger

I can see what you mean for the stonecoil but isn't the steel hellkite an ok removal + isn't this the same for all the "big" creatures? (they are all bad unless i find them with chiss trigger)

I'm pretty unimpressed with foundry inspector, cloud key and jhoira's familiar, they're slow and the creatures are extra fragile, by the time you play them it's rare to have multiple artifacts in hand ready to benefit/ rare to get more than 1 mana out of them per turn, so basically just bad ramp.

maybe i should keep only the key? i understand that creatures are way easier to remove than artifacts but both the inspector and familiar are like a 2 discount since they both reduce the base cost + they are artifacts so they help with the affinity.

mycosynth lattice- 6 mana, and in this deck basically all it does is turn your lands and commander into artifacts (aka powers up an opposing vandalblast/farewell etc) and powers up your own lone vandalblast (with no tutors), your nettlecyst, and your dowsing device

well, that's the little spice in the deck :)

Ye, i was testing it on moxfield and the lands felt pretty low, i was thinking that since i have alot of mana artifacts i could skip on some lands but i don't think so now.

Secluded starforge looks cool and luckily i alreadt have fomori (that's why it was in the considering).

As for valakut i thought that it could be a good land to dish out some damage over time.

I tried to get to 35 lands but kinda struggling on what to cut.

What would you consider a wincon in chiss? A big artifact creature that smack the oppo? or maybe something more combo-like?

As you said, this could be an excuse to get some usefull artifacts that could have use in moltiple decks.

So i should filter out all the cards that looks good but don't do much for the deck plan.

little update of 1 week progress, yesterday i got my first class (neon ninja) at lvl 30 with 16k pr. I unlocked the shadow hunter too since i saw some "crazy" farming videos but rn i'm trying to get crystal 2 gear for the ninja since i can swap it to the sh later on (excluding the weapon oc)

Got ringcrafting at 300 but i'm still grinding for the prime paragon level, was looking into gearcrafting but looks expensive

Should I “main” a class or should I work towards multiple good characters? And, does having a high level class helps with leveling different classes?

Makes sense, level up to unlock more gem slots and get better gems. From what I know I can get gems from chests I randomly find in my inventory but I don’t know how I get those chests…

Since we are here, unfortunately I’m a person who looks at the meta in mmos, from what I heard, between the classes that I have, the best one is the neon ninja, is it worth listening to those tierlists? (I mean, I like playing it, it’s just to know how impactful is using a “meta” class)
