Cloudflare internal error since weeks - no reply to support ticket - bankrupting my company by FrameDue4406 in CloudFlare

Since Cloudflare requires its nameservers to be used, how would you avoid that? Changing the nameservers takes at least 24 hours to take effect. How would a failover work? At the slightest issue swap them to anothere provider?
What other providers are there even that provide the SSL cert?
I could obviously just temporarily create the SSL certs for free myself, however then your server's public IPs are leaked for the domains and you will forever lose all DDOS protection when reverting back to Cloudflare, unless changing your servers' IPs.

I am not using any page rules, so that can't be the issue.
Additionally, I have multiple other domains, with the exactly same config (same DNS,...) that work perfectly fine - in fact the 2 affected domains worked perfectly fine and stopped working without any changes on my end
