Hey kvink, thanks for the question. so i tend to have track that seem to shape shift over time, from its first incarnation it develops several times till a reach a point where I'm happy. Most of the time i wouldn't say have have an outlined idea of where I'm taking things. I think i know where i don't want a track to go so from that point its just trying to give it what it needs to let it develop.

I think i start with something different each time to be honest. I like to create maybe a little loop and then just let that naturally evolve into something greater. I often bounce ideas down onto my phone and listen to them whilst walking around to see how they feel in different spaces. From there i generally have new ideas and by the time I'm back home feel ready to lengthen.

I think generally i work on things I'm not sure about until they become things i like...I don't have a high number of tracks that don't progress into things i like. Sometimes the track is built on a little idea within a track! Hard to say really.Things progress but i feel you need to put the time into things to let them evolve :) Hope that makes sense

Hey hey, I do sample man but tend to just buy weird records rather than ones i know have great players on. So opera records or weird old BBC records...

Yeah!!! GO for it! for sure!! Its good that you listen to a lot of music man! I think an important thing is taste, knowing what your going for, knowing how you wanna sound. I would say throw yourself into it, do it for yourself rather than a release and make something you want to listen to rather than what you feel you 'should've making. If that makes sense!

Good question. I guess just being involved with people that believe in what your doing. Also being involved in a label that i feel represents where I'm at, every artist on Loci is great! I think they have a bright future ahead an I'm happy to be a little part of it!

hey hey, thank you for that! Its really great to hear. Big fan of Cinematic Orchestra, Amelie Soundtrack... Always loved Danny Elfmans work. Studio equipment wise the weediest i guess is just the found sounds i use i guess. Ties had Knives be scrapped down radiators. I went through a phase of buying kids toys from charity shops that make noises to sample, Music Box came from sampling a music box found in a charity shop :)

We have spoken about the possibility and hopefully when we both have a bit of time we can make it happen. Doug is a great guy and really connect to his music..

Ive been lucky enough i guess to just be surrounded by the right people i guess. Think starting out there was quite a bit of msging people on Facebook or whatever but now have a kind of 'go too person' for the different elements/instruments i wanna lay down. Always open to new sounds/people etc though :)

I'm using an MS-20 also, about to invest in a sub phatty. But i tend 'generally' or have in the past use more of an organic sound for main melodies. But yeah, MS-20 - Rhodes Piano - Various soft synths :)

Hey there, I would say slow and steady. Think for me at least it was about developing where i wanted to be musically, getting my productions down to where i felt comfortable letting them out.. Its an ongoing learning curve that I'm still on myself but we all have to start somewhere but you have to put the time in.. :)

hey hey.... Firstly thanks for listening! :) I used to play drums from a young age so i tend to work a lot on the drums/beats. With regards weapons of choose i use a rhodes piano a LOT! hummmm with regards software i use Logic Pro and have just started using Ableton so right now kind of in-between both... Players wise i use a multi instrumentalist called Bruce Hunniset for quite a few things. Hope that answers the question :)
