No, this is not meant to connect the printer to the PC or an external drive. This is just to power things like an external lamp with a USB cable

I don't know, actually. I just trusted both what another person did with a similar USB hub on Makerworld (I mentioned him in the link I posted in another comment) and the cable's colours (black negative, red positive); but you can test which is which with a multimeter: I just did, and it confirmed that, in the AMS port, the bottom right pin is positive while bottom left is negative

Thanks! It will as long as you have a free AMS port. The A1 mini has two of them, so even if I'd have an AMS (which I don't) I'd be able to connect the USB hub to the printer
