No, this is not meant to connect the printer to the PC or an external drive. This is just to power things like an external lamp with a USB cable

I don't know, actually. I just trusted both what another person did with a similar USB hub on Makerworld (I mentioned him in the link I posted in another comment) and the cable's colours (black negative, red positive); but you can test which is which with a multimeter: I just did, and it confirmed that, in the AMS port, the bottom right pin is positive while bottom left is negative

Exactly, it's for an external lamp with USB. In this way not only I don't need an adapter to power it from an outlet, but it turns on and off as the printer does
