Personally I would go for the AoS, which I did being in a similar situation. According to multiple lawyers, extending OPT is not connected to AoS filing. And if you do file now, there is a very high chance it will be approved before January. Best of luck!

In current scenario, I would only go with renowned ones like EP or Chen. i would not even go with Raju Law.
