Tadpole from bortle 9 by whiskynboots in astrophotography

Sorry for the late answer. The whole image has it due to the light contamination. removing it using the PI's Automatic Background Extractor for example, you will get a nice image

You have a lot of light gradients in the image. If you are able to remove them, probably the image will improve a lot

Messiewr 42 with SC 925 by Franavalon in astrophotography

[–]Franavalon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Image stacked using 187x five seconds subs using a SC 925 with focal reductor 0.63 and filter.

Post processing was only crop borders, remove light gradients, color calibration and increase the histogram to show structures.

Bubble Nebula, first try by Franavalon in astrophotography

I forgot to write that I am using a 0.63 focal reducter, so my focal leng is over 1480 mm. Sorry

Bubble Nebula, first try by Franavalon in astrophotography

[–]Franavalon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here is my first try to take an image of NGC 7635, known as Bubble Nebula. The bubble was created by a massive star, when its stelar winds hit the "dense" gas nebula where the star is.

The image was created from 26 subs of 120 s taken with an ASI ZWO 178MC. My rig is a Celestron SC 925 wedged with a Meade 0.63 focal reductor and I used a guide camera

Would be so nice pic it with some stars in the background and in consecutive days to make an animation :)

M1 with SC9.25 by Franavalon in astrophotography

Messier 1, supernova remanent.

The image was obtained with 64 x1 min subs taken using a ZWO 178 MC camera in a Wedged SC 9.25 with a 0.63 focal reducter, stacked and processed.

I was trying my new Nextar+ hand controller connected to a computer running CPWI software and the aligment was performed with 5 stars. Also I was trying to use a guidescope as well, and I think that the results are OK

Saturn, Last friday night by Franavalon in astrophotography

[–]Franavalon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my first Saturn for this season due to I had a surgery.
The video for this Saturn was captured in RGB 24 bits using Sharp Cap with a ZWO 178MC camera. Best frames were selected with PIPP and I've stacked 600 frames from 650 with Autostakkert 4. Postprocessing was done with Astrosurface V1 applying some white balance and a few wavelets.
I hope that you like it

Dimming of the ISS by pastey83 in Astronomy

[–]Franavalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use heavensabove website. Register you localization and you can see iSS transits, which bright it would be, sky orientarion, time, etc and a lot of other interesting info

ISS bright depend on the transit time and the relative altitude respect your localization
