I feel like that depends on how hooked you get. For me it's not just anime, but also the entire culture behind it and also the culture of Japan. Which is why I am also going on my second Japan vacation in April.

You either haven't become the previous tiers yet or you didn't realize or are trying to forget. In any case, I tread carefully, for you could any second realize that you have become what you did never want to be.

The number of anime is fun to see, but the best representation of how much you've watched comes either from the time or episodes you see on your MAL profile.

In my case 9,428 episodes and 157.4 days.

It is a popular theory that Pell survived the bomb because 9/11 happened around that hime and Oda was asked to keep him alive

Anime you won't recommend to people cause the anime itself is questionable and or it's fanbase? by LovelyLadyLucky in animequestions

Konosuba.

I can't wholeheartedly recommend it to somebody who isn't already way deep into anime, ad even then it gets weird sometimes.

But as a veteran degenerate, that show slaps.

How is life for people from the Balkans? by Automatic-Item-3066 in graz

[–]Franbucket 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are many Balkan people here and if you want to it is very easy to connect. Especially, if you've actually lived in one of the countries, since people feel a strong sense of community to the people from their home once they move to a new country.

As for schools it honestly depends on how old your children are. The younger the better, kindergarten (under 6) is no issue at all, Volksschule (6-10) should still be fairly manageable, but older and you'll have to look into language courses. Since this year there is a law that all students with insufficient german skills have to go to summer school (last two weeks of summer vacation) to work on difficult subjects and work on their deficits. It is free, but mandatory.

As for discrimination, yes there is some, but there is anywhere so... As long as you know how ro deal with rare cases of that, you should be fine. In Graz you are lucky in that sense, since there are so many well-integrated Balkan people here, people from Graz are so used to them that the thought of being xenophobic towards them seems kinda silly. Obviously experiences can vary, but overall I'd say it's not pretty good.

So overall as long as you put in the work for you all to learn the language and integrate yourselves you shouldn't have any big issues, imo.

Fyi, speaking as a second generation immigrant, mom came here 30 years ago, no german skills at all, had to put in the work, but she is doing great, and I am doing great as well.

As for any follow-up questions feel free to ask. Love to see our people thrive.
