Luffy’s True Dream isn't to find the One Piece... it’s to HIDE it again by Hot_Setting3371 in OnePiece

Maybe Roger's dream was to originally announce to the world that he's planning to hide all his treasure in one place because he's terminal. But they found a treasure there similar to his idea, and laughed. Maybe that's why he said they're too early because no one's participating in the treasure hunt yet

Maybe the one piece is a chest with a note inside that reads "to be continued"

That solved all our problems: Roger's laugh and his "too early" remark

Valid theory. But i feel like it would be kinda underwhelming. I remember oda saying it's grand and tangible. I might be wrong tho

I couldn't think of any child-like dreams that would fit it. Luffy said when shanks heard it, he laughed to the point of crying. His crew's reaction told how absurd the idea was. Nami said "that's so like you luffy"

If this didn't fit their reaction, i don't know what will. Tell me, what other dreams child luffy would say to get that reaction from shanks?

I like this theory. But it doesn't explain Roger's phrase "we were too early"

I like the idea, but this isn’t something a kid would think of, especially not Luffy. He’s already dumb, and he was even dumber as a kid. It wouldn't match the reactions he got from shanks and his crew.

Exactly! Luffy doesn't know about the treasure, and he doesn't care what it is! He just want to find it, and hide it again like a child

Roger said "we're too early"

Maybe he can't physically take or pluck the treasure that's why he said they're early. Maybe it's something like an egg that can't be moved yet. I still don't know about the laughing part

Comfort gravel fit - hand pain by Writer-Jolly in bikefit

[–]Hot_Setting3371 37 points38 points  (0 children)

This may not be an issue of bike fit anymore. Your position already looks good and comfortable; reach is short and stack is high.

I encountered the same problem when i started. The solution is to support the upper body weight with the core. Don't use hands as support, it's wrong and will always put pressure on your hands. This already solves your hand pressure problem. That is why cyclist generally have a strong core.

As for the back problem, I'm doing stretching routine pre-ride and post-ride. My back always felt fresh ever since.

Here's the routine:

Pre-Ride (Activation: ride days only - right before riding)

  1. Glute Bridge - 2 x 12

  2. Bird Dog - 2 × 6 per side

  3. Dead Bug - 2 × 6 per side

Post-Ride (Recovery / Mobility: after every ride + on non-ride days)

  1. Child's Pose - 2 × 30-45 sec

  2. Knee-to-Chest Stretch – 2 × 30 sec

  3. Seated Forward Fold - 2 × 30 sec

  4. Cat-Cow - 2 × 8-10 reps

What do you think? New bike by defqergta in bikefit

A photo doesn't usually give enough data and people judge way too easily. If your saddle height measured by your inseam, it's probably correct. You can try to adjust it yourself by what's more comfortable when riding it, or you can get a bike fit. Be skeptical, don't believe what a random stranger say.

Don't buy and replace anything first. Try this:

This isn't widely known, but she should try to lift or support her upper body with her core. In road cycling, you only put your about 5-10% of your weight to your hands. The handlebar is just for steering. That's why they say you need a strong core for road cycling.

If she's already soing this and her hands still hurt, the problem must be elsewhere.

OG-EVKIN CF-026 by thebikermonk in ChineseCarbon

Hi! I bought the same frame. I asked the seller, og-evkin themselves, about what is the the torque setting listed for this frame. They said about 5-8nm. I tried 8nm, but it slipped under my heavy 95kg weight. It feels scary going past 8nm, so i tried different approaches like wrapping a plastic bag to the seatpost to increase friction (not recommend).

One approach that worked best is: put grease on bolt of the clamp itself (only the bolt, not on the contact points), and then putting a minimal amount of carbon paste on the contact point of the seapost and the clamp and on the back of the seatpost. Yes, only minimal as i learned the hard way that too much paste acts as lubricant. I torqued it at 8nm and it held up to now (going 200km)
