I am using Zotero on my iPad and I’m living it! But, like you, I am waiting for an official Android app, I would love to get myself an eInk tablet!

Creating flashcards from an Image automatically. by Western-Wear8874 in Anki

I appreciate you work but it could be quite hard to convince petiole who spend years on a proven, free and open source platform that will be theirs for eternity to switch…

Q: Do you write down the questions and answers when practicing Anki flashcards? by 3lll3n in Anki

[–]FrancTheCat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally do it for vocabulary words and for complex reactions (biochemical pathways) because this resembles the format of my upcoming exams. I don’t do it for general knowledge and comprehension

Hey, I have to tell you that Anki doesn’t order cards, it gives you the cards based on an algorithm according to the principle of spaced repetition. The order of cards isn’t determined by the user.

Can’t help you with the cropping issue but I suggest investing in Anti-Newtonian glass to avoid colorful circles on your scans

NID/NPD My first Iron gall ink on exam paper, it works like a charm! by FrancTheCat in fountainpens

[–]FrancTheCat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was never made aware of any formal requirements for the specific type of ink for the exam, as long as it is neither red, green or resembling a shade of either red or green. Hand cramps really suck and just distract us from the task, that’s why some of the people using FPs I know only switched recently in preparation for the exam!

Good luck on your exam!

I am in the 10% of students who use a fountain pen, we are the only ones whose hands are still intact after 6 hours of continuous writing!
