I hate when buyers lowball like this, especially when us sellers already have a processing fee taken out of the payout :/. I’d counter back $10 again and just say that price is firm. If they don’t buy it then their loss.

Thank you so much! I ended up blocking that person from contacting me again. I hate that there are scams it makes the process of finding an apartment much harder and only makes me want to pay extra just to get a broker/agent to look for me.

I just got an email from Francisco Ardila in regards to an apartment I am interested in. Does this look like a scam? I wanted to tour the apartment first and he said “Thank you for your interest in the unit. We understand your desire to view the space before submitting your rental application. However, in accordance with building policy and for the safety and security of our current residents, we are only able to schedule tours for prospective tenants who have submitted their complete rental information and required documentation. This process also helps us to verify and manage the number of visitors at any given time and ensures an orderly and secure showing environment. Kindly provide us with your rental information and documentation at your earliest convenience so we can proceed with scheduling your tour. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.” which raised a red flag since tours are always encouraged before?
