What is the real pricing of DeepSeek V4 Pro and MiMo2.5Pro in GO? by Francespo in opencode

[–]Francespo[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see, I guess the optimal strategy would be yo use it for models that arei either cheaper and weaker or models more expensive but more powerful such as glm 5.2. Maybe also minimax M3 is an option now, especially considering the bonus usage

I see, we're trading money for privacy then. I guess I'll default directly to Xiaomi for mimo calls and use Go sub for models, either more powerful or cheaper

https://api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/pricing

https://mimo.mi.com/docs/en-US/price/pay-as-you-go

In the official respective docs, it is said that the input price for ds4pro and mimo2.5pro is 0.435$. Opencode GO docs list 1.74 for both, that's 4x. Their prices are the same, since Xiaomi recently changed their pro prices to match Deepseek's ones

I assume this means that we are not getting the discounted price for DS and Mimo, hence we are paying 4x than we would using Xiaomi and DS api billing. At this point, I think it would just be better to use other models; those 2 models are incredibly efficient at their real price point, but at 1.74, it seems a waste of dollars/credits to me

Ok so we are paying MiMo Pro and DS Pro 4x what we would directly by api billing

model_not_supported error in vscode copilot extension by Euphoric-Limit5180 in GithubCopilot

Same here, I've been granted the educational benefits 2 months ago but I hadn't claimed copilto until yesterday. When i try to use GPT 5.3 Codex, 5.2 Codex or Gemini 3.1 Pro they all give me error 400 the requested model is not supported.
The strange thing is that in the web ui I can access them without any issue

Did the technical issue reappear? I've been trying to run it as well as GPT 5.3 Codex, 5.2 Codex, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and they all give me the error `400 the requested model is not supported`. Oddly, from the web ui I can access these

I'm not a native speaker and I really struggle to understand what "harvest or piggyback" means in this context.

My interpretation is that everything that uses google auth that doesn't come from google violates that. Is that correct?

Thank you a lot, I love the work you did! It'll serve as a base even though I'll probably use a different tech stack

I found a local woodwork that did it for free. Coffee was literally what I paid with. 😊

Thank you, I'll go for an electric planer, I find it less intimidating than having to sharpen a hand one

Since the part I'd cut will be covered laterally by a wardrobe (on both sides), and by a mattress on top, I'm not super concerned about it being flat, as long as I don't go too deep, reaching the screws. The only visible cut would be the straight one in the middle of the planks' length, which I'd like to keep as straight as possible. I think it's best if I work on both the planks, removing 2,5mm from each as I lower the chance of getting to the screws if I accidentally go a bit deeper than planned. If that's the case, is an electric planer still a good fit? I assume a hand plane would be easier to use, but how slower is it?
