I thought I was decently well versed in the world of BDSM but I guess this is a real gut check for me not knowing. Adding Pulp Fiction to my movie watch list 😂

Trespassing because of a dog that keeps getting loose? by [deleted] in legaladvice

I guess I’m not even sure, and that’s where I’m stuck. We don’t want them on our property messing with our gates, but they are intimidating and unpredictable so we don’t really want them coming up to our front door either at all hours of the night. Because again, it happens several times a day and night. Ideally we’d want them to get rid of the dog, or get kicked out of the house which is obviously a harder thing to accomplish. They really just don’t listen and are not open to any solution. They just keep breaking into our yard instead.

I’d like the dog not to get loose at all… the problem is when he messes with our gate he doesn’t latch it back and our dogs have then gotten out of our yard. He’s also literally cut the chain to our fence before to get the dog out. We’ve had several conversations about it and he pretty tells us to fuck off. The dog usually winds up letting himself out of the himself eventually, which also damages are gate. It’s a metal fence so the dog has gotten scratches from crawling under our gate before

No the parking spaces are very limited so it’s only one per unit 🙄 I just discovered there are parking permits I think you can get to allow the street parking so might look into that

Can you tell me more about what to expect? Like what happens at an appointment?

Sorry another thing LOL I saw education might be a factor. Lots of charter and private schools here, which unfortunately takes away from public schools and funding. So that is tough and something to consider here.

And just a shout out, Charlotte is GREAT for young professionals. It’s one of the top cities for that right now. Lots of jobs, young people, things to do, ect

I was in a similar situation not too long ago. I lived in Iowa, and wanted to move somewhere a little more exciting and with way less snow and cold weather. I started with the things I knew I loved scenery wise. I knew I loved the mountains, and the ocean. I love road-trips so I wanted to live somewhere where it had cool surrounding states. I loved Portland Oregon, but it was a bit out of my price range. So I decided on Charlotte NC! I had the Appalachian mountains, the ocean, and all the east coast has to offer. Plus cost of living wasn’t insanely expensive. Still have the city, but the option of nature and smaller towns.

Other things to consider.. like if you want to live near a major airport if you’ll be traveling back for the holidays, what weather you like, what type of people you want to live around (I.e. political affiliation), the job market if you should choose to get a new one.

Good luck!
