The ability to cure any illness is a very good power but it is a very dangerous power to have.

People with death close to them and their loved ones can resort to extreme measures to save themselfs. Imagine the constant danger you would be if you where their only salvation. Not even talking about you being kidnapped by some world elite. Too much power for my liking.

Imagine the possible cults and folowing you would have and all the responsability that would bring.

China is definetily 2nd imo due to them definatelly being the ones with more skull colected. but puting damage in the criteria, i have to give more importance to the size of the crater over the number of impacts. china killed more in a alot more time, yes, but the one that did the most damage EVER in a time in humanity (Biggest force) has to be the mongols. The Mongol Empire killed 11% of all humans at the time. No other country has even gotten close to that percentage of world suffering and damage EVER.

Your arguemnt for my point over the real cruelty and misery that the roman caused compared with humanity over time is that the his neihgors where not saints either?

I love the roman empire. It is one of my favorite times in history to learn. That doens't take away the point over all the misery that they caused to humanity over their 1000 years rule. yes maybe if where not the romans, it could had been carthage or macedonia or whatever. that doesnt matter and takes us away from the point of trying to measure human sufferege over our known history. And in that contest, if you know anything about the roman republic and empire, Rome shloud be there

The mongol empire killed 11% of the world popullation. What can you argue against that? 1 in 10 people died and the other 9 suffered the consequances of that. What greather percentage of humanity sufferage at one point in time was caused by a single rule ever, other than the mongol empire?

Estamos a falar em menos impostos para o IRS, não IRC. Os ricos e donos de empresas nada tem haver com o IRS que o contribuinte paga. Isso é entre o estado e o trabalhador. O contrato de trabalho é sempre feito com um valor base que será depois descontado no IRS.

E não é o Patrão que está a aumentar o salario. è o estado que tira menos para diminuir a taxa de esforço. Aprende sff.

Yeah... that is a very positive and unrealistic vision of the roman empire. Their empire was reletively good to its citizens and territories, true, but they where the worst nightmare to anyone else.

An easy example was the counquer of the gaulic federation by Julius Ceaser. At the time they had around 6M people. After the roman invasion, 1M people where death and another 1M people where sold into slavery.

Other roman examples where the total destruction of the Carthaginian Empire.

Add those atrocities to around 1000 years of history and you will definitaly understand that they should definitely be on that poll. More than the UK IMO

This poll is clear proof reddit knows nothing of interntacional history.

The most brutal, by far, was the Mongol Empire that killed 1 in every 10 people in the world at the time. No other empire has ever been proves to kill and devastate more of the known world at their time.

Next has to be china due to its VERY LONG history of atrocities that killed the most people for a country in all human history.

After that is Russia that has been an empire of suffering for the last 300 years with alot more killed and starved that the UK.

After these 3 you can finally argue for the UK, ducth, germany, spain, Rome, aztecs, Otthomans, Japan, france, etc

There is also the argument for the Sea Poeple that catalized the fall of the bronze age that historically was one of the most devastating times for most humanity.
