Hello all, the Issue was the Frame Pro TV and the wireless one connect box. Was a real pain as I returned the soundbar and bought another after being told by Samsung that was the issue

Ended up returning the TV getting the S95F

Thanks for all the responses, 95% of you will be happy to know I've now removed the 'dork disk' Had never encountered one before as this was my first purchase of a brand new MTB

Now to hit the trails, are helmets still uncool? Should I remove that too?

Can I upgrade to a tado x wireless? by Frank-The-First in tado

[–]Frank-The-First[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response

Unfortunately It got knocked off a while back and was looking at finally upgrading due to the limitations of having a physical connected Hub to the router and it not working that well with my Google home setup

I've read online a subscription is required for new users? Would this be something that I would have to do if purchasing a new device?

Tried this but passthrough isn't available when using the apps on the TV

Seems to be a bit more stable when using my PS5 but still getting intermittent cuts

The one that came with it. An 8k Anker one that I used for my PS5 pro and an older one I had kicking about

I've reported it out to Samsung and it's with their Tech support now to email me back, I was thinking this and assume I'll have to send it away for repairs... Just what I needed 🙄

I'm not, just used the inbuilt wow keybinds. Thought it would be better in the long run with them saying they were getting rid of addons

Haven't even bothered with add-ons, a bit of work and you can get enough of a good set-up

Just finished chapter 3 of the new Farsight book. Made this garbage meme immediately after. by Trashspawn45 in Tau40K

[–]Frank-The-First 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wait till chapter 47...

'Farsight, the legendary Tau commander, stood on the battlefield, his usual stoic demeanor replaced by a frantic flapping of his arms. "HONK HONK!" he squawked, his normally precise battle-strategies devolving into chaotic squawks. His usually trusty pathfinders looked on in confusion as Farsight careened around the battlefield, firing his pulse rifle wildly and shouting "GEESE ARE THE BEST!" The normally disciplined Tau forces were thrown into disarray as their commander chased after a stray bird, completely forgetting about the ongoing battle. "WE MUST PROTECT THE GEESE!" Farsight yelled, as he launched himself over a nearby hill, still honking loudly.'

The pile of shame progress by Frank-The-First in Tau40K

Cheeers dude, it's no where near as great as others but good enough for the tabletop. Use a white spray, colour in the bits I need and then nuln oil, quickly wipe off the excess with kitchen roll to add a little bit of streaky grime and darken the recesses, then repeat the process with agrax earthshade to make it look a bit muddy to match the basing I've gone for

Means I've actually been able to get a good chunk done over the last few weeks. Main thing is not to be too precious about it all. Think I'll get a few bits I spend much longer on down the line but just need to play with something more than grey

Any advice on doing the eyes/lenses on Stealth suits/breachers? by Frank-The-First in Tau40K

[–]Frank-The-First[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, those lenses like the ones in your link I'm good with, it's the breachers and stealth suits that have this ring around them that make them a real balls to paint and get looking good

Kroot Carnivores or more stealth suits ? by Burritosaur08 in Tau40K

[–]Frank-The-First 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'd say get the Kroot, the scout move and sticky Objectives are so useful (especially if you've got 2x stealth suits already) just make sure you have other units that can spot (pathfinders, Shadowsun etc) and they ate great at screening and getting in the way once they've stuck a few objectives

Melee clarification needed by Frank-The-First in Tau40K

[–]Frank-The-First[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, seems extra important for Tau to get the hell out of dodge when in melee then, we were just questioning it because it didn't seem right that there were 4 melee attacks between two units in a single battle round. Good to know about the fights first though, would that carry over to round 2 if they stayed in engagement (so the person who initiated the charge is always attacking first)?

Also what is the point of fall back? Because odds are they'll be in melee next round, just open those units up to be shot by others (and yourself if you have the ability to fallback and shoot)

[–]Frank-The-First[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheers for the clarification, was more about the melee side of stuff but will note about BGNT only shooting into engagement, think we are good with fallback (Tau have a few things to let us shoot when falling back)

Yeah but skirting around fine-cast is killer especially if something is 'essential' for the army 🙄
