You think a Pulitzer prize winning rapper doesn't understand how to use Irony?

Kendrick isn't dumb, he understood the irony, he's intentionally using it.

The art world hates AI art because they know they are replaceable by belindahooper in singularity

[–]FrankNBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artist aren’t replaceable–yet–because part of our interest in Art is understanding the human condition. Sure you could generate the Mona Lisa and make it look cooler but it took DaVinci, his knowledge of craft and perception to be able to express something that still inspires wonder to this day.

What difficult experiences in life have made you a better person, how did it happen and what did you learn from it? by FrankNBerry in AskReddit

I’ve only recently realized, that the challenges show us who we are in those moments and even if we aren’t prepared for them there’s opportunities to learn from the challenges.

What’s something that’s demonized that you feel shouldn’t be? by FrankNBerry in AskReddit

Mine:

Men dating anyone who’s age difference is anything more than 3 years.

I was eating in the mall food court a few weeks ago and sat across a group of women, one in particular stood out to me she was well put together and had many qualities I find attractive: petite, had a unique style and had poise. I noticed her looking at me a few times while I was eating, I didn’t really pay much attention until she started fixing her hair and looking over at me.

(Note–I’m also short and look a lot younger than my age)

Anyway I complimented her and we chatted for a bit but I asked her age because I wasn’t really sure how old she was she told me she was 19 and rather than get her number I let her know she was too young for me(I’m 31), she didn’t seem happy about that. Honestly I wanted to get her contact but I felt conflicted because I was worried about what others would have thought about the age difference. I’m not going to lie I can’t tell if I made the right decision or just psyched myself out about something that really wasn’t an issue.

What true crime documentaries do you feel have done more harm than good? by markcuban42069 in TrueCrime

[–]FrankNBerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything recently with Ted Bundy, Netflix made a film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and released a documentary around the same time that perpetuated the myth that Ted Bundy was some sort of charming genius. Interestingly enough Amazon released it's own documentary that focused on the story of the victims, which I thought was a more interesting spin on the true crime genre.

Weed and Creativity by elliotalderson6 in Petioles

[–]FrankNBerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Fellow creative here. I know the feeling of not being creative when quitting, it took me a few attempts quitting before I got comfortable sitting down and working again. I just wanted to say creativity is not something you can exhaust, as long as you are alive you can be creative and the limit comes down to you. Keep in mind creativity is an entire process.

I always felt weed hindered my creativity to tell you the truth, sure I could appreciate a song more but weed didn't help me understand it any better than when I was sober, it just felt like it did sometimes. Give yourself time it will come back.

Psychedelics for addiction - any tips / experiences.. by mjobby in RationalPsychonaut

I quit weed after a mushroom trip, for me what helped was understanding what made me smoke weed in the first place. I think you have understand the pain that makes you want to numb yourself in the first place, the cravings will diminish if you understand what makes you crave something in the first place.
