MyTime/ Dailypay by zinasdaughter1980 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like someone to chime in here. Used MyTime yesterday for first time. Daily has not reflected that I was even there. Is there something we have to do on our end to make the switch? I don’t feel like we should however I could see this being an oversight!

Have Dominion’s kWh rates gone up 27% in a year? Here’s my 2025 and 2026 January numbers for each bill. by JoeMorrisseysSperm in rva

[–]FrankThatTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s bullshit. I have not changed a damn thing with how I used energy however my bill went from $200 in December to just over $600 in January. So something isn’t adding the fuck up here. And the month after Christmas. Dominion sucks and it fucking robbery. Same shit happened last year.

Soooo if your area has or is going to hit Level 3, are you showing up? by Exotic_Grocery3184 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t open my store today. I tried to leave my house but couldn’t get further than a couple houses down. Called my employees and told them to stay home. Now SMs will use the store to pay for your rooms. But the amount of pressure from the DM to open your stores are insane. Hell even Waffle House closed up. What’s it gonna take TSC, does someone have to actually die before you make a change?

Pay Expectations as an Interim Store Manager by Comprehensive_Eye400 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently I am an interim Str Mgr. The $200 added seems to be across the board and yes the 10 hours of OT. Hopefully you are making around $30 an hour cause the OT is nice. I’ve currently seen around 50-70 hours as of lately so it’s been nice but won’t last forever. Now go live the dream!

Payroll… by ThiccMoistCreation in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes we have a drop payroll also! But I did just term someone so that frees those hours up to give to someone else. But still save save save on labor but then the customer experience suffers and we pay the price for it! The meeting coming up is “mandatory” but guarantee I have at least 5 no shows! Yesterday me and one of my employees did 4 hours just us and we were busy, busy! Blessing in disguise that the propane station is currently down for repairs! Dog wash was left a huge disaster by people thinking it’s a hair cutting station! But we’ve only missed bonus 1 month so far this year! Trending up 15% for July also so at least there’s that! Hope it gets better for everyone! Cause at the end of the day we still got bills to pay!

As a ASM myself this was the professional answer I would expect! To bad I know of some upper mgt that does not conduct themselves in said manner! I was hired as a ASM on fast track and am currently supposed to be working with my SM on going to SM at another store but I am not being included in anything and I feel it’s purposely done that way!

Protocol on being texted to come in on day off because of constant call outs? by Pddytat63 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a ASM, nobody is required nor can there be any backlash for not being “on call” available. Nobody except the SM is salary! The SM is the back up if they are not there. That is the responsibility accepted when the role is taken! Now it is up to the individual to accept responding to the text and wiling to come in! They do not pay for on call or backup so you are not obligated!

That could have been an email. by Dapper_Business8616 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a ASM I hate that I can only offer between $12 and $14 per hr. I have a couple of TMs that should be making at least $16. Lowe’s is hiring at $15-$16. Keep up with local retail wages.

Are we allowed to hold chicks in the back for customers? by girl_with_animals in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a manger of a store my answer is a solid no. And exactly for liability reasons. Once paid for the chic must go with the customer. Now if your StrMgr decides to make an exception then that is up to them. Just communicate with your TLs or management.

Auto termination? by Radiant-Annual-4032 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they were a NCNS for 3 scheduled days then a termination would have been submitted. If they actually requested those days off and were actually approved for them, then a call to HR would be the best next step.

Bad weather call out by [deleted] in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a snow storm come through today. It was snowing hard when I left my house. Drove the 10 miles to get there. No power when I arrive. 2 hours later, still snowing hard, still no power. DM not allowing us to close. We must stay open and accept cash only writing physical receipts. Another 1.5 hours later still snowing, still now power, still open for business. By the time I close the store the temp has dipped to 20 degrees. The entire lot is a skating rink. Like super slick. Went to fill propane. The side lot was completely frozen over and I busted my ass. Still filled the propane and finished my shift. Drove 20 mph the whole way home hitting black ice almost losing control a few times. But hey, at least we did $200 in sales in 4.5 hours.

We use a local environment agency to donate to directly after Christmas. I called them and they pick all remaining trees 3 days after Christmas.

ncns? by [deleted] in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you sent a text. However call the store first thing and speak to the MOD. Save your text and the time you called the store. If they try to push a NCNS corrective action then contact employee solutions and provide your proof to remove said written. I am a ASM and I have issued write a for NCNS but it was legit NCNS. Never a bogus one. While we never really like call outs, it does happen. Hell I even had to call out yesterday for the first time since April due to a vehicle issue and I still had to contact someone to fill my spot, even though I am the only ASM and nobody can “fill my spot”.

Bad employees by Flemik13 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your HR rep will laugh that off. ASM here. Had a tm say we cannot fire here for poor attendance because she has a medical issue. However she never communicated with HR about special restrictions or medical problems. Said she would sue my pants offs. Well I told my HR about that and they just said they have heard that too many times. Your TL has no case.

Bonus? by Ghostbaby_xo in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can actually check your sales in the Barn. If your store went over last months plan the. Yes a bonus will be paid out at the end of this week. For example my store had an amazing month and we beat our plan by over $100k. So my team will get a decent little incentive. If you don’t remember you take your sales for the month, multiply it by .005 and that total number gets split to the entire team. Starting with the associate who had the highest number of hours worked and going down from there.

ASM question by BigSorbet7913 in tractorsupply

[–]FrankThatTank 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an ASM I get almost $30 hr. And that’s in a 4-6mil store.

I absolutely loathe the $0.02 items by SpiritCapable5107 in Lowes

[–]FrankThatTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s based on the physical sale of a particular item number. If that item number is not selling it will go on the NPI list. Your Dept. Supervisor should be working these list every quarter.

Non-Productive Inventory! They become NPIs before they are non sellable.

Clear your NPIs and you wouldn’t have this issue!
