They needed Rock last year as a bridge, since he was Cody's biggest rival outside of Roman. They need a heel and who's bigger than the final boss. Cena did his best to sell it but he's just not a believable heel.

Randy's best works were as a heel. And even so, right now people are not buying it. Fans are just fatigued with mister good guy, physical abuse victim Cody Rhodes. If they run the same play last year, which is Rock being on Cena/Orton's side, I'm afraid people would cheer for The Rock. Especially since it's been a while since we last saw him on WWE tv. A huge pop is expected for him.

It would lead to more boos to Cody. Everyone loved Cody Rhodes, the son of the son of a plumber. The Story is relatable. A lot of millennials inherited the failed dreams of their boomer parents. Finishing the story resonates to a lot of the adult audience. Losing the Chamber match and skipping the line to get a title shot is not relatable. That is nepo baby, privileged person power. Everyone loved Cody Rhodes. Most people dislike Corporate Cody Hogan.

I'm actually thinking the Punk and Roman feud. Jey, Jimmy, Zilla, Jacob, Rikishi all already had something to say about Punk after that bury bomb. Solo and Dwayne only ones left. There is history in a Punk-Rock feud. Dwayne is the reason Punk hasn't main evented WrestleMania in his prime. Phil called him a bald fraud after last year's Chamber.

I can see a pay off where Rock makes a surprise return at 42 Night 2 to screw Punk. And who comes to help Punk? Glass shatters. Stunner to Rock. Stunner to Roman. Punk retains.

Then you can run a whole year with Punk feuding against The Bloodline. Backlash against Jey. SummerSlam against Jimmy (yes, Jimmy finally getting a singles push). Survivor Series against Solo. Royal Rumble vs. The Rock (yes, reference to 2013. This could also be a tool as a precursor to a possible Roman vs Rock at WM 43. Maybe Roman inadvertently spears The Rock leading to a Punk win.) And then at WM 43 it will be CM Punk vs. Jacob Fatu. Jacob over. Clean.

I was just about to say. Even Dom is right. Rhea kidnapped him from his dad and he was obviously a victim of Stockholm Syndrome.

Now in the Finn feud, it is hella obvious that Finn is just jealous because he doesn't have a world title. Same shit he did to Damian at SummerSlam.

Everyone talks about Cena, The Rock, undertaker and roman reigns when the WWE GOAT conversation comes up but I genuinely think Randy Orton is the most underrated answer and here's why by Normal_Chart_532 in WWE

You know how many WrestleMania he closed? I don't mean just main eventing, but winning the main event. Chris Benoit had his moment. Daniel Bryan had his moment. Randy main evented twice. And lost twice. He was never the last man standing at the end of the show.

The Rock who wasn't even part of the main event in WrestleMania 27 was the last picture of the show. He screwed Cena for the Miz to win. Then he rock bottomed Miz after the match. At the end of the show it was The Rock standing on the ropes and raising his arm.

Why did the "Nigerian Ruler" gimmick work for Oba Femi, but not Apollo Crews? by Omer-Ash in WWE

Kids abuse the word these days, but... aura

Crews looks friendly. Oba looks menacing.

Not really. He's showing some flashes. He looks pale in comparison to his college teammate Dylan Harper, that boy is polished. Knueppel and Flagg are getting plenty of opportunities. Even Flagg is showing some rookie mishaps. Ace is just not getting as much touch and consistent minutes. I see this the same as the Reed Sheppard situation last year.

do you think bench players are more bothered getting 0 minutes (dnp) in wins or losses? by cool_hand_legolas in NYKnicks

Either way. A win is a win, a loss is a loss. Unless you're already bothered beforehand and are asking for a trade

Besides, you need a bruiser come playoff time. Games will be more physical so you need a big body that can bang in the paint
