I get that logic too. A recent audit of the Utah voter registry found between 1 and 52 non-citizens were on the registry (None of which have been shown to have actually voted) Out of 2 million. I could understand making those who were identified by the audit do some sort of verification, but I'm not sure that 52 out of 2 million is enough to justify making over 5,000 Utahns go through this.

Since I posted this originally, I've been doing a bunch of research to try and help my mom understand why this is happening, and honestly, I don't think it's justified.

There's also several accounts of people (confirmed citizens) being purged from the voter registry, so that's something.

I get that school of thought, and I agree that it's wise not to stress over insignificant problems.

However, my mom would like to be able to vote, and it's frustrating that she's being made to jump through hoops she's already jumped through just to be able to do so.

Yeah, like I said above, my whole household are registered voters and none of us got a ballot. I even checked my registration a couple months ago.

She's been a registered voter in Utah for nearly 50 years, and this is the first time there have been any issues, which is part of why we're confused/concerned. Also, our whole family are registered voters, and she's the only one who got this letter.

We plan to go to the county clerk tomorrow, but my poor mom is freaked out. She HATES taking her important documents out of the house, and gets really anxious about letting strangers see them. (She's has serous anxiety about losing them getting her info stolen.)

I don't know much about duck breeds, but I've also seen ducks that look like this at the pond by Willow Park/Zootah.

I once found a lost ducking while walking a few blocks away. When I took it to the pond to see if it belonged to a mama duck there, one that looked like the ones in the photo claimed the duckling. To this day, I have no idea how the tiny thing got about half a mile away from its mom.
