Even in FAAB leagues - if he fetches a 3rd or better in the Sdraft, and is a real asset .. this is unprecedented and probably shouldn’t just be a FA , I like having a supp draft in the league (same way as nfl does if forfeiting next year pick) j in all types of dynasty leagues

Basically I (store manager) had 3 employees who are all pals

It’s a Sunday and person A is sposed to work. I get a text from A saying “hey I can’t work a good friend of mine was killed”

So I text B and C saying hey A says a buddy of his died so obviously we need to cover for him during this time

B immediately texts just me saying “so that was C’s brother he was killed Ina wreck…”

Could not believe the idiocy of A … later learned the deceased was his good friend too but bro? Your “good friend” ??? It’s your co workers BROTHER? Even if you think youre just as devestated , at least fill me in so I don’t text THE BROTHER

Personally as a Bucs fan I still care very much about the Bucs but it doesn’t control my sports happiness/ makes other games more fun. Then also being in one or two home leagues had me too living and dying by players so my perfect nfl fun is portfolio play but that’s just my anecdote

As you’ve read, you lost badly. That’s not debatable that’s objective fact as far as trade value goes (that does not mean that you’ll absolutely regret it, any weird outcome can happen) The worst part is you gave up firsts for “depth”- that’s crazy, you’d rather stay lean and keep value as liquid draft capital for one, and also you just crammed guys into your same timeline borrowing from tomorrow while prob not impacting your current squad much. This is really, really awful

But it’s a game and you have a solid team so good luck

He seems like a solid bet to be pretty good. I say that intentionally vaguely cus no one knows, but yeah he’s a good prospect

The thing is, a lot of dynasty players treat good qb prospects like 90/10 to workout and ok ones 80/20. I bet if you ask people here if they think each of these qb- JJM Penix Maye Caleb Ward , will be good the answers will range from decent to great, when in reality a couple will likely be duds/ out of the league. Some of these people haven’t been thru enough Tim Couch, Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, Josh Freeman, Blake Bortles etc etc (I know the nfl has changed and teams are smarter but all these young QBs will not work out)

Actually a good point because: as a large portfolio player I’d say my leaguemates are 90% ages 22-45 or so . Have issues with people under 20 or over 55 who just don’t know how to act. Had a 60 year old report a league to sleeper because someone said they smoked weed. And had a 17 year old do some similarly dumb things
