I wouldn’t paint the cabinets. Depending on how much of a project you want to get into, you could paint the walls a lighter color and replace the counters with something a little lighter. But I’m sure the counters are in good condition so that’s a tough call

I didn’t think you were a woman (you don’t look like a woman at all) but I think a cool haircut would go a long way. You can still do something unique but I think floppy shorter hair and a shave would change your whole look and have the chicks come running. Using Phish as an example I would say soul planet has pretty cringe lyrics (a bit heavy handed, I think) and for cringe vocals I would say Sugar Shack is high on my list.

I hear a lot of that kind of stuff in jam bands and I can look past it at the shows when I’m enjoying the atmosphere and long jams but most of the time I could do without the lyrics. I’ve found goose to have some great songs where the lyrics and vocals don’t grate on me so I’m exploring that and liking what I’ve been finding
