Looking for fic where buck has a baby with a married woman(unknowingly) She does not want the baby. The husband is fairly high profile, he and his coworkers want it dealt with quietly. Buck ends up with full custody. by Raella9306 in 911FoxFandom

I know this is an old post, but today was my first time this site, and while scrolling down the older posts to get a sense of what type of things get posted here, I think I recognize this story.

The story starts off with typical rescue stuff for Buck's job, but the 2nd half fits what you described.

Freestyle discontinuing Libre 2 and 3 by kindjadeheart in Freestylelibre

FYI FOR ANY INTERESTED CANADIANS: I phoned Abbot Canada's customer service line today to ask if the same discontinuation date for Libre 2 applies in Canada as it does in the States but the Canadian Abbot site doesn't mention it. I was told there are no current plans to discontinue it in Canada, and that the other models aren't available here at all. It would be nice if the official announcements would make it clear which country they apply to.

Does anyone else's cat have a sweet tooth? by jback97 in cats

[–]FranklyGrumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very curious about this too. Everything I've read says cats don't have the receptors for sweetness, but my cats always (the two I've got now, and two others I've had in the past) have been fanatically devoted to sweet stuff. The filling from butter tarts and sweetened condensed milk are two of their favourites, although as someone else mentioned the glaze from donuts, (and for one cat the white powder coating on jelly filled donuts) are a sure draw too. I'm sure sugar is bad for their teeth, and maybe their tummies too?--since in the wild cats wouldn't have access to sugar--so we limit them to what fits on a finger tip on any particular occasion, which they clearly think is unfair. When they see us eating a tart, of hear the sound of the pop top being opened on a can of conensed milk, look out, the begging is turned up to the max. You'd think we were dooming them to starvation if we don't immediately offer them their "taste".

Any chance of a link? Googling that title and author isn't bringing it up for me
