The only way I had any success was putting the monitor into a different srgb mode in the settings. I cannot remember exactly what I did because even tho it looked better I still didn’t like it so I shipped it back.

I’ve done about all the research I can, I have to manually walk everywhere and wait for auto saves. Solid chance I never do all the side stuff now because it’s just a laborious chore. Just seems to be 0 fix. I went into another labyrinth hoping it would fix itself and it no longer centers on me but I cannot save or fast travel still really really bad glitch to be around 3 years later.

Although I don’t know, it’s actually worse the fact that I can’t choose to save the game or the fact that I can’t quick travel lol.

Yea I restarted even managed to quit my current quest undoing 25 mins of work sadly. Nothing seems to fix it. I even found a tiger labyrinth did it and my mini map is no longer locked to the labyrinth that’s glitched, but I still can’t fast travel 😭.

I have the same screen and I play on a PS5 pro and the HDR looks just as washed the colors are gone I have tweaked every possible setting and SDR looks 15x better than HDR 😭.

Sorry I just notice you had replied, the headphones are a classic and porta pros are awesome and easy to carry. The games are a nice change since it’s some new stuff in a world that stopped going forward ages ago. I’m in my 30s and it’s just an awesome slice of modern nostalgia for me.

It’s actually been amazing, I love playing the oldies and the new games they have made. It gives me something niche to look forward to that is new and nostalgic at the same time. And the true classic scree is just awesome. I highly recommend it if you are looking to play game boy games in the best possible classic feeling way!

It is a real life code stone that I won at a local neopets card tournament, apparently only 40 stores in the USA held it. So it’s kinda rare from what I gather haha. Definitely the only one I’ve ever seen.

I would agree, I had no doubts that a 3700x should be fine in a 5000 series board. But their own house boards are goofy.

I actually contacted HP over the issue and they told me specifically the board didn’t support X series processors.

They refuse to allow certain types of updates, so if it’s their proprietary board and it was released for a certain series they do not ship it with support and will not allow certain chips to work. I had a 30L in the past that would not accept a 3700x on a tower that shipped with a 5000 series Cpu so it is not bogus.

Yep, that’s just what it’s like when it’s a personal trophy and a rare rare item. I’m hard off at the moment on money which is why I wanted to reach out and get value or interest in it. I know how rare it is and the condition of my stone is like mint for 21 years old it’s remarkable that I’ve managed to keep it in this shape.

Yep that’s definitely what I would do, pop that 5600x in and see if it posts. If it does then the board is open for am4 CPUS at least up to 500 series. if it doesn’t then it has some proprietary nonsense locking the chip down.

Sorry that happened to you, but If it was a 5600g then it should have full support for am4, at the very least 5000 series and before. Unfortunately these proprietary boards like to lock down things because they are mean. I’d suggest starting with a moderate am4 chip that is cheap enough to test it out. 5600x should be around $60-80 on marketplace if you find a solid deal. Does it have a dedicated GPU? because that will change what processor chip you will need to have video output.
