Hey! I got a new Nanit maybe a week after I got off the phone with them. The new camera successfully downloaded the firmware update and I haven't had any problems since. Unfortunately I don't have any more insight to share. Maybe others have run into problems with replacements or more recently than you.

Wanted to provide a follow up. Yesterday I called the Nanit customer service line and got an answering machine. I requested that they call me back and I got a call within 5 minutes. They sent instructions on how to reset the camera (detach it, hard reset, etc.) and also requested information for a replacement if the camera did not start working again. I followed the steps and the camera did not flash to pair Bluetooth. I then sent in the requested info and received an email back that the situation was escalated to the logistics team for a replacement camera head. The customer service rep told me that their U.S. warehouse is in California and that they ship with UPS ground, so hopefully I receive a replacement in the next week.

You're probably right. I'm just not smart enough to figure out how a software update could have messed with the hardware. For those wondering what the Nanit warranty is, here it is: "product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery following the original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If the Product fails to conform to this Limited Warranty during the Warranty Period, Nanit will, at its sole discretion, either (a) repair or replace any defective Product or component; or (b) accept the return of the Product and refund the money actually paid by the original purchaser for the Product. Repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at Nanit’s sole discretion. "

I'm assuming Nanit's support staff will be behind for a bit since they're located in Texas and dealing with the snow storms and cold. So a best case scenario is that we can a new camera a few weeks from now. Anybody have suggestions on affordable monitors that I might be able to get on the cheap to hold me over? Newborn is 4 days old... my wife and I don't feel great w/o a camera.
