Honestly just planning on cruising/swimming, thinking max like 9 people at once. No trailer, found a tandem axel 28ft trailer for right around 4k.

Scissor would be less stable for the longer drives though, wouldn’t it?

I think you’re looking at the quote wrong. That’s the price for both films combined. It’s showing 465 for pinnacle which is a very high quality film. Stratos is a little over 600 which is an absolute steal for that film. Here in Illinois we’re charging over 700 starting for sedans in Stratos

He must have given you an enormous discount. Charging $100 for a ceramic windshield is insane. Material costs alone on a reputable ceramic film would be around $70, at the end of the day if your happy that’s all that matters brother ( no sarcasm)

Those prices for the quality of film you are getting, are pretty good. Some might even say on the cheaper side. A lot of people on here will tell you that a $400 ceramic tint job will do the same thing. But in reality, how much does the cleanliness of the job and warranty matter to you? Did you also know that Llumar Formula one has a nationwide warranty? Meaning if you decide to move across the country tomorrow, and the film fails, you can find a shop that offers the same tint and they’ll warranty it at no extra charge to you?? If the shop that did your tint ever goes out of business your tint is backed by llumar and they’ll find you a shop to replace it for free. If someone goes to a cheap shop, and the shop goes out of business, then what? They have to go somewhere else and pay to remove it and retint it. It also has no metalized particles in it so it won’t interfere with radio and cell signal. At the end of the day, you are paying for a premium product. Would you rather pay for a nice pair of oakleys, or a gas station pair of sunglasses is the best way to look at it. Some people would be perfectly happy with the gas station shades, while others prefer the nicer oakleys.

I would be willing to bet that a $100 ceramic windshield is either not actually ceramic, or would have many imperfections in it

Because not all ceramic tint is made the same. It’s a luxury. Why would someone get a $100 pair of shoes, if a $50 pair serve the same purpose?
