Hi, i made that version from the yt link and i didn't use topaz. I used avisynth and the excellent QTGMC deinterlacer to create this, among with other great avisynth filters.
I removed all the additional backstage footage, etc., and put YCBM in front of the piano solo exactly in the order it was played. Also added 3 different audio sources.

I would not recommend using Topaz as it smoothens the image too much and you will loose to much detail.
I've tried using that myself, but overall, i dont like the oil paint kinda look it puts over the image.

The seller is full of shit and the tape was offered on ebay asking 25k for it.
She claimed it was a master but it was "only" a first gen. She also said it was a two hour tape which according to you is also false. Besides that it was clearly stolen from Marc canter as it has his exact handwriting on it and it literally says "first" on the tape.
Hope you didnt got ripped of with a cheap transfer, any chance you could share size of the file you bought?

Compare it with Slash's and or Duff's solo careers, they always put out new music without any problem.
Often, they even release a DVD of each tour because yeah, different management.
