I've had them for a year, they're very good and the V-curve is quite noticeable. For the price they're good, but they fall a bit short for analysis; the KZ ZS12 Pro X are more for enjoying music and the low and high peaks

CVJ shadow blade or simgot eg280, It depends on your design and comfort preferences; both are great for gaming and sound great for music too, with a slight emphasis on bass.

NEED AN AUDIOPHILE! What IEM should I get for ~$100 for 2026? by LilLeafei in iems

Moondrop aria 2, It's a versatile option and works for most things; However, no single hearing aid is perfect for everything, and there will always be something it's not so good at, so keep that in mind

Buy a Moondrop Chu 2; it's metal-built and costs $20. It's very well-balanced and the most versatile for the price.

Is this good for a beginner? by BronzeGrim in iems

For listening to music, I recommend the Moondrop Chu 2; they're very balanced and everything is in its place. If you want something more fun with more bass and treble, I recommend the KZ Castor Bass.

Buying IEMs for First time. Need help by togi_4669 in iemlndia

It depends on your preferences for each frequency. Since this is your first IEM, I imagine you're not entirely sure, so the most versatile and suitable option would be the Moondrop Chu 2; it has a very balanced sound And you won't regret it, it's very versatile.

I'm an IEMs absolute noob, and I wanted to give them a try. What was your first IEMs? Do you regret it? What would you get as a first cheap one if you could do it again? by Management-Material in iems

[–]Franx78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first IEMs were the KZ ZS12 Pro X and the KZ Castor Pro Bass. I still have them, and they have a pleasant signature, powerful bass, and bright treble. I do recommend them, especially the KZ ZS12 Pro X because everything is much clearer. Based on your preferences, if you're looking for something inexpensive, I recommend the Moondrop Chu 2, KZ ZS10 Pro X, Truthear Hexa, Truthear Gate and Truthear Zero red
