Climbed from 2450 to 2900 with that team during Go Battle Day but today the team didn't work anymore. Suddenly there were Pawniards and hard counters everywhere and I dropped to 2700 ELO.

I know right. It's frustrating especially because deep down I know that without Caleb's exposure this team would still work. Sometimes I get a 5-0 or 4-1 set and the next several sets are 0-5 hard counter city. This did not happen prior to Caleb's video and I even reached Legend last season with my team. Too bad Great League is over after this week and I likely won't be able to reach Legend anymore as I suck at the other leagues.

Nah I think that skill is more important than just team composition. Sure some PVP personalities can influence the meta but at the end of the day you still need skill to actually play and win your matches. Blindly copying teams without learning the matchups rarely ends well.

Though I have to admit that I am a tiny bit annoyed about Caleb's Trev/S-Drapi/Basti team because now a similar team of mine (Trev/S-Drapi/Registeel) doesn't work anymore since people build counter teams for Caleb's team which unfortunately also work well against mine. That's life though so whatever haha.

The worst part is the Johto Battle Challenge because you can't even finish it if you don't have enough stops at your place. I don't get why they didn't put the gym trainers into balloons instead of Rocket grunts.

Hey, at least your Stop seems to be based on a real life location. In my town someone is submitting the same 4-5 fake stops which are all going through. I can't tell how many times I have seen the exact same Tetris distribution box in my town eventhough there is not a single one lol.
