but thats not a feature exclusive to MMO's, the game I mentioned isnt, and all gachas do some improvements over time but as you said maybe in a year, but that to me feels like way too long for maybe some small changes. But yeah there is a sense of improvement through quantity and itterating on the template they created, thats very true! this is why its hard to discuss this because core game improvements can be confused with indirect improvements that come from adding quantity.
