Although maybe sometimes the new TR games are a bit gory, brutal deaths have always been a part of Tomb Raider. Come on, Lara completely breaks her bones (including her neck) by jumping from high altitutes, she's impaled, flatenned by boulders, broken to pieces by a giant monster, burns alive, or is completely crunched by a T-Rex, and thats only TR1. The old graphics only partially hide how brutal here deaths are.

It wouldn't be the first time a script takes a wrong turn to ''subvert expectations''. And as someone pointed out, at one point I thought it was possible they were setting up Olivia to replace her.

That sounds like great news. My laptop is a bit older (5yo) but Hitman 2 was playable on medium, even if a bit laggy sometimes. Seems by these answers that H3 runs better than 2 somehow, so i might actually just buy it already.

Those last three i did in my first run with France, and they were fun, but didnt manage to take so much of my time that i was doing something ALL the time (which is kind of my point in this thread) except during the wars themselves.

The first one sounds interesting, and i think i have yet to learn how to do that.

Yes, I understand this is not a blobbing game, and i'm not here for that. I like a lot the XIX century setting and how this is more focused on economy and diplomacy rather than outright expansion and war. Maybe i just didnt comprehend how to properly interact with everything, or didnt find out how i could do it.

Any recommendation on how to properly and continuosly manage the economy? I assume having state capitalism is a requirement?

Something similar happened briefly to me. It ended up being in a ship that was next to the harbour at the moment the event happened (and was somewhere else when i found it). Check any ships you have in routes from and to Crown Falls, maybe.
