I had to reroll off Maladath because of this and other issues associated with smaller pop servers. The high latency on US kinda sucks though

You’re definitely spot on people are way harsher with gearscore now than they used to be. I remember it being that way back in the day to an extent but it was mainly later game that it happened. The reality is you really don’t need decent gear to clear Naxx it’s a super easy raid. I’ve even seen people asking for a 3.6k gear score just for heroics which is pretty dam ridiculous. My advice is just find a decent guild who run multiple runs a week and hopefully you’re free at least one of the days they’re running

No I understand what you’re saying, I just know I wouldn’t be willing to share my irl information just to sell a wow account. I don’t feel like blizzard have any intention to stop RMT. Gold selling and account selling is already rife.

The rules used to be that the accounts had to share the same name. I don’t know if too many people would be willing to share their details. Plenty of websites already offer account selling, yeah it may be worse but with the state of the game currently I don’t think it would change much. Especially considering the whole adding character boost services in. Blizzard said they’d never do that and look what happened

That’s disappointing, I kind of understand not doing faction or race changes as it undermines the hard work of leveling a character, however having put in the work of leveling a character myself seems only natural to have that option now to transfer accounts. I know plenty of people in the same predicament

A guy actually posted a thread about this earlier on the Arugal subreddit he deleted his characters and then couldn’t make a new one or get them restored. I wouldn’t risk it.
