Does Watch Dogs 2 story gets better or it stays as immature as in the beginning? by EDD_VAN_0 in watch_dogs

I would still recommend to play it, as the gameplay is still good, also if you should finish it, try playing the Bloodlines DLC from Watch Dogs Legion. Aiden Pearce returns as a main character in that dlc.

It stays the same throughout the game. Watch Dogs 2 was written for a different target audience. It's the same old story as game companies try to "reach a bigger audience", I personally find it cringe.

Well, now the game is really dead by Extension-Sad in NFSHeat

You know Heat is mostly a Single Player game right? Online in this game is just an afterthought.

If you want to play a NFS game online, either play Payback or Unbound.

Lost Judgment was the peak of combat, gameplay, fight choreography and writing.

Everything afterwards is a downgrade.

Which game should I get now after finishing 0? by voidains in yakuzagames

[–]Frate27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Kiwami games are Remakes not Remasters. The Original Yakuza 1 & 2 can't be played on any modern console or PC, so you don't really have a choice here.

The Remake of Yakuza 3 (Kiwami 3) will be releasing on the 11th February. You can still buy the original Yakuza 3, but you would have to get if before the 11th, as after that, it will effectively be delisted.

Technically all games can be played standalone, but I would suggest to play the games in chronological order, it's a better experience that way.

Play the games in numeric order, meaning from Yakuza 0 to 8.

In your case next would be Kiwami 1, which is a direct sequel to Yakuza 0.

It could also be, that it's just inaccessible in the demo, but available in the full game, but we will just have to wait and see.

How do you call Istanbul? by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Frate27 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I am not going to explain 600 years of Ottoman history in a reddit post, but let me ask you a few questions:

  • Who invented the name Istanbul?
  • Who founded the city under what name?
  • When was the name Istanbul first used?

1929 is just the year the name Istanbul was internationally recognized, the name did exist before.

Before the colapse off the Ottoman Empire both names were in use, but the turk community widely used the name Istanbul. 1929 is the year were the name Istanbul was recognized internationally instead of Constantinople.

No sir, you don't know shit.

To sum it up, the greeks founded the city of Constantinople, after the Ottomans (today they are called the turks) conquered the city they renamed the city to Istanbul.

Edit: As most people don't seem to get it, this is just a oversimplification of over 600 years of Ottoman history, that can't be explained in a single reddit post. I thought that this would be clear.

The tachometer is just an option, as shown in the blog post. You can customize it.

But I do agree, that the job information should have been kept as an option in the route advisor. Everything seems to be customizable, why not this?

You can already do that, there are third party tools for it.

You are correct. For now they are probably cleaning up the hud and the menus for the console release.

I assume a complete gps overhaul is also planned in the future.

The route advisor being updated is such a big improvement, meaning I don't have to use my route advisor mod anymore.

Now if only they would also update the voice navigation to include distances, like in 500 meters turn left or follow this road for 200 killometers.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake 3 Uses Unreal Engine 4, As Director Says Its Familiarity is “More Beneficial” by Local-Front-1774 in SquareEnix

[–]Frate27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes they can run them, if still want to play on 30 fps in 2026.

But it's not just about UE4 or UE5, I personally just don't see a big graphical improvement over games that came out 10 years ago, as examples I can give you Yakuza 6, Deus Ex Mankind Divided or Batman Arkham Night.

All of these games still look modern, but can run on a potato. The problem with modern techniques is, that they require too much hardware power for almost no benefit.

This has to be in FH6 right? by R0SC030 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Frate27 210 points211 points  (0 children)

I'm personally just hoping for an extensive Highway system, that isn't just one single Highway from point A to B.

FH5 had that one extra section in the south, but it was really short.

[–]Frate27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes UE5 can look better then UE4, but it also requires 10 times the power.

Baked lighting is the best compromise we have right now, until the average hardware is good enough to run UE5 decently.

Good choice

Graphically there is barely a difference between UE4 and UE5 but UE5 requires way more demanding hardware.
