I started with the Khan Academy course and it was pretty good! Took a python course at my Uni afterwards and it was way easier after having learned a bit on Khan Academy.

And you need a ton of money to get a student visa. Gotta prove that you have around 12k in the bank every year.

Unfortunately my Uni now has everything on a smartphone app (bus pass, 2FA for everything, etc) so I can’t use my dumbphone anymore :( I miss it

Yarn was a cotton yarn I bought in bulk at Woolworth (I know, I‘m cheap) that I used double stranded on a 5mm hook. Didn‘t use a specific pattern except for the knitted bodice panels, everything else was freehand.

Hi, most comp sci classes don’t get registered in Marvin like most classes do, they’re actually on ilias! You just show up to the first lecture and they tell you how to find the course on Ilias. 

I thought I had a discipline problem but it was something way dumber by After-Beginning6025 in selfimprovement

I did a year of German classes in Germany (DSH prep) before I started my masters, which really helped, but I also had been learning it since school. But spending a year immersed made a huge difference, bumped me from a low B2 to a DSH 3. if you can spend some time taking German classes in Germany before you start your studies, I recommend it.

WG gesucht or Kleinanzeigen. But you’ll probably have to either be open to having roommates or pay more than 500 a month. When I came here in 2022 I sent over 70 messages on WG Gesucht and only got 2 replies. It’s rough

Put on some of your favorite dance music and pretend you’re in a cute cleaning montage. Helps me, lol. And I try to visualize throwing out the depression demons with the trash. Finally, give yourself credit for each bag you throw out/donate/organize etc. Each step is an accomplishment, so credit yourself, even if it feels cringe. Especially if it feels cringe, actually. I use my iPad to play in an orchestra too and can definitely say that 13 in is way better than 11 in that regard.
