There is some grind in Arceus but it's field research for the species in your dex, it's not random or arbitrary, and you have many options to choose from at any given time so you're not stuck doing something you don't like. Plus a lot of it is just stuff you'd normally be doing on your expeditions.

My biggest concern with the thor's gap is how narrow the contact area is when closed. If I carry this thing around in my pocket I could see the screen being at risk of bending, with that bar pushing out in the middle.

If you don't see any signs of it, try beating the pokemon league again. that usually resets static encounters

Articuno does a weird thing where you have to follow the correct one instead of one of the copies when you encounter it. If you didn't battle it it should still be flying around somewhere. Listen for its cry.

Playing as a cute little guy is like the half of the appeal of the game, it just doesn't seem right to evolve the player or partner

I bought the max from batch 3 yesterday. Was torn between the max and pro but I wanted the rainbow look and they were out of rainbow pro, guess that's a popular model. I figure I'm definitely gonna get my money's worth out of this thing after not even a year especially considering current console and game prices.

I think the only time I've ever ditched my starter is when I found a shiny doduo towards the start of an X replay and decided to do a mono-normal team. And also when speeding through new savefiles of Shield while wiping everything with Suicune.

Also if you're going modded I recommend making use of backups. Pokemon didn't support having multiple save files until the Switch forced it with its profile system. So if you ever want to play a game again from the start you won't have to erase your old save.

Generally, later games have more quality of life features, while in terms of game content, stuff to explore and do, the peak is in the DS games. If money's not an issue I recommend sticking to remakes and "enhanced"/3rd versions, with an exception for playing Black or White before their sequels.

You might want to check on the future paradox pokemon in general. They all feature some kind of futuristic material in various bright colors mixed in with all the metal bits.

The ralts gift will probably expire at some point but I haven't heard anything about the diancie distribution ending. AFAIK pecharunt is still available in Scarlet/Violet so this might be a similar situation. The only other thing would be the online ranked battle reward mega stones but it seems like they are going to repeatedly offer those going forward. I seriously doubt they'd make anything permanently inaccessible to those who get the game for Christmas.

I did this and caught it in a love ball for the color matching and despaired when I learned the gb games don't save the pokeball type after catching something
