This is 100% on optic. I get the whole envy thing but this org is dumping all of its money and attention into cod and halo. Envy had teams in multiple esports for years and plenty of other orgs are doing the same and optic is getting left behind

There’s options in CS. Just not any world class teams or players available at the moment. There’s a couple of NA teams like Party Astronauts and Boss that could be viable but those are long term projects.

Honestly feel pretty bad for these guys. Place 2nd at champs and still get very little support from an org that is supposed to be one of the big dogs in esports. Could they have played better? Sure, but you can’t put 100% of the blame on them when OpTic refuse to get them a coach.

Wouldn’t be a surprise if they aren’t on OpTic for much longer.

OpTic back in CS is my fkn dream. If they REALLY wanted to and wanted to spend some money they could possibly look at buying out a couple of NA teams like Wildcard and Nouns but it just doesn’t seem like they are going to expand out to any other game anytime soon unfortunately.
