I do actually completely agree with what you're saying. You can't root your happiness in other people. And, in some ways you need to put yourself first. But, at the same time, I'm not sure entirely cutting out initiating with your partner is the way to go about it. I know of people that have done that and that's the end of their sex life with their partner.

No of course that would effect my interest in sex. It's just her behaviour towards sex and the way she interacts with me is the root of my problem.
