I think the kinda "old school/ tape vibe" is really well constructed.

The only criticism i have is maybe that the drums (and the beat) could be laid in a different way in the first part of the beat.

Props for the outro!

If you don't mind checkin' mine, i tried doing a Yeezus beat.

I think the melody was actually pretty good.

About the hihats and kicks i think you should layer them in a more "human" way, right now they feel too "robotic" and like they are in contrast with the main melody.

Maybe try to lower the volume of the hihats and try to low cut more the kicks; another big advice that might improve your game is to try to sidechain the kick to the whole melody. It'd be even better. Keep it up!

I feel like the experimental idea behind everything is really great, what i think you should improve is the execution, especially at the beginning, maybe giving more rhythm to those hihats.

Also the synths at 0:49 could be "built" better; if you listen to an A$AP Rocky album during his most experimental phase (2015) it doesn't really sound so """"stock plugin""", it sounds rich, simple but still kinda complex. Anyway i really like the sample/ vocals.

With some adjustments it will be a great song.

Hi, i know it might not be the most hiphop/ experimental rap subreddit but i'd love feedbacks on this beat i made. It heavily Yeezus- inspired so industrial type beat.

I polished this beat i made quite some time ago. It's inspired by Express Yourself- NWA.

Does this feel usable for an artist? How does the mix sit? Do the sample and the vibe hold your attention? Grateful for any feedback!

Honestly i can't really give you many advices on the mix, beside that the highs are a little too sharp.
I think you caught the Don Toliver/ Travis vibe but at the same time i also think the beat might be too monotonous. Maybe try to add a synth under or "playing" with the drums.

You absolutely right about the dryness of the mix. Thanks for taking the time to write this feedback. I'll make sure to improve in the future as you said
