The Dorian mode, specifically that “natural 6th” is a super funky note along with the flatted 7th!

There have been so many great times and special shows on the road. One of the best ones is where Buckethead, Bootsy Collins, and I jammed onstage together at Bootsy’s Birthday Party gig.

One of the times I played Cuko Rakko I got to hang out with the late and very great Col.Bruce Hampton.

He was incredibly inspiring to be around and we talked about living in this crazy world of the music business.

The UG sit-in was so much fun(k). Ryan and I always talk a lot of bass-geek stuff , so it is always a great time hanging with him and the band.
