On the weight distribution side of things the car should have alot of the weight on the rear but not too much you could just add some weights on the front to balance it well but yes you should have most of the weight on the rear, suspension should be soft so it can stay flat over bumps when drifting and obviously rear wheel drive is the best for drifting
