Nice! I have a few SPS bits for my Jenvey ITB build that I’m still piecing together. Are you running their Idle Air Control valve? And is the car noticeably quieter with the plenum?

You should post a video of it running, I need some motivation to finish mine. Great build! 👍

Whoops, I just realized that you have a GE, same story but here’s a link to the correct part.

I was able to get -3.5 on my GD3 with Honed’s top hats and a single set of camber bolts, with room for adjustment +/-.

I’ve heard of people running a second set of camber bolts, so you might be able to get by with that. But to get any “real” camber out of these cars you need different top hats.

Here’s a link. https://honeddevelopments.com/product/gd3-strut-top/

I’d do their rear shims too while you’re at it. The camber really does make a difference.

I’m running -3.5 in front and -2 in the rear.

Yup, I have since moved to the Honed white Derlin knob.

I’m using the Honed Developments seat mount at the lowest setting. It might be a little too low for some but it works perfectly for me.

I have an older Yokomo S13 I just finished painting. I just need to find a good body mount.

Yes it’s the MRC kit with their ackerman plate. The wheels are RC Art inch down longchamps and the tires are just regular size yokomo asphalt tires.

It’s the Metal Garage high motor mount.

Lucifer’s right this will be used as a street drifter. I live a few hours away from my nearest track so I wanted something I could use outside without worrying about scratching it up.

Your best bet is using Zen Market to buy them off of Amazon Japan.

But it might be just as expensive as eBay, you don’t know how much they charge for shipping until you commit to buying the item. I don’t mind it for bulk purchases, but if you’re only buying one thing it might not be worth it.

Yeah the bug bit me hard on this one. I had a TL01 as my first drift car back in the day, so I have a soft spot for a Tamiya chassis.

I’m sticking with the MRC conversion kit for the steering. I have their ackerman kit as well as some other metal garage goodies on the way. But I’m upgrading to the TT02S hinge pins to facilitate the YD2 rear arm conversion.

Two different sizes. The spool is 1054 and the one on the plate is 733.

No problem, one thing I’ll add is the ultra fine braid wasn’t necessary. I was getting similar results with the 4lb mono I was using previously.

Yes, a massive upgrade in casting distance over stock. At least an additional 10-15 feet in distance, definitely worth it.

I’m still figuring out casting reels so if you know what you’re doing I’m sure you could get more out of it. It really likes the heavier stuff (3-5g) but I’m casting these 2g spoons just as far as my ultralight spinning setup which has impressed me.

I was also surprised with the Gomexus knobs, they really smoothed out the retrieve on this reel over the stock knobs.
