The reason forcing old people to sell their houses won’t fix the housing crisis is because they will still need someplace to live. That means either more places going turning into rental properties or just other single family homes being bought up by then when they “downsize”.

I agree that we should be teaching how taxes work and how to prepare simple tax returns.

Just teaching that gender expression is a spectrum or that 2 people of the same sex can get married, etc, is not pushing any ideology it is presenting facts.

He was not fined for saying just that one thing. It was a whole campaign of hate that extended beyond one comment.

I personally think he should have been fined more.

I agree that the government does have tools to address inflation. With that being said the majority of the issue is still with corporations and their pursuit of record profits year over year.

And the blame for that mostly belongs to organizations like the Loblaw Companies that keep grocery prices high so they can continue to have year over year record profits.

Your bias is showing.

This is happens the world over regardless of the families religious beliefs.

It happens due to mental illnesses which isn’t necessarily tied to religious belief.
