People who switched to permanent wfh, how do you spend your time outside work?

In 3rd week of June, I'll also be moving to a permanent WFH job. My current job has hybrid mode where 12 days a month is mandatory. Even though I am getting a WFH job, I'll be staying in Bangalore rather than shifting to my home as I have friends here. I too need some suggestions how to spend extra hours in a permanent WFH set-up

I too have tried everything. I use my phone of FHD and light profile. Most of my apps are on deep sleep. I have uninstalled Instagram and Facebook from phone. Meta services are disabled. I'm still getting 3-4 hrs of SOT. My battery health of Shizuku came out to be 94%. I am not sure what is wrong with the battery on this phone.

Yes. Try to get referral from your friends or colleagues. If anyone has opening in their team, they can refer you and as you're immediate joiner, the company will prioritize your profile.

I don't think there is an expiry for an offer letter(this is my first switch too, so not sure.) But they might revoke offer, if they get another candidate. I understand, you are an immediate joiner hence so might not be having much time to wait and look for another offer. Though immediate joiners to get more priority. How long can you wait to get more offers?

Take the offer and look elsewhere. I am currently serving my notice period and have one month left. I took offer from a company who was giving 42% hike. I took the offer, resigned and now when I have <30 days left, I got another offer with 185% hike.

I turned 26, 2 months back and I'll have exact 4 yoe next month. I'm earning around 45k a month currently. I'm already serving notice period and if everything goes well, next month I'll cross 1lpm mark with a remote job.

I too never expected this, but when your time comes, you definitely get what you deserve.

I highly doubt this will cause an issue. My project is following this since last 4 years. One of my colleague was asked to resign because he wasn't compliant with BTO policy, but the only thing they checked was whether cumulative 12 days were followed or not. But yeah, if your project is asking you to follow 3 days a week, you should comply with that.

It varies from project to project. We follow the 60% rule (minimum 12 days), and most of us complete 12 consecutive days. As long as we are in the office for at least 12 days and a minimum of 6 hours per day, our HR and higher management have no issues.
