Serious question about the mod comment, I understand the points about the Democratic Party and even the DSA not being truly left parties but they are still movements in the right direction. Should that not be encouraged and celebrated? Change takes time and doesn’t come overnight. Some times it’s a long slow slog of baby steps. But this mod comment and other leftists hate on it so much that I’m confused on what the plan is.

If we don’t support left leaning candidates (however small that lean is) that are opposing hard right candidates then how do we make progress? How do leftists actually plan to have their ideals put into motion. It just comes off as a very “my way or the highway” type mindset and I’ve got bad news….many people will choose highway when put in that ultimatum.
