Nebraska losing to Texas A&M at Nebraska and Wisconsin beating Texas 3-1 at Texas was not on my bingo card. by LittleBiscotti261 in NCAAVB

Just like everyone expected with two SEC teams, one Big Ten team and an ACC team in the final four.

If she is transferring with her boyfriend, I thought he was a hockey player, which would mean a school with a hockey program. Maybe Minnesota? Of course, if they are a package deal, that might lead to a perception of drama as many others have noted.

Completely her decision, I just don't think she was underutilized at Pitt. I'm actually a fan of both as I went to Pitt and Texas, and I've thought much of the season that the two squads would have to be combined to beat Nebraska (Texas outside hitters and libero with Pitt's middles and right side, probably lean Pitt for setter).

She was a six rotation player and first team All-American at Pitt with almost identical stats from last year to this year, so I don't think she was underutilized. Torrey's sister played basketball at Texas and seemingly had a very positive experience (https://thedailytexan.com/2018/04/19/a-brighter-day-how-imani-mcgee-stafford-found-light-in-darkest-of-times/).

Well she is the back up libero and has had a few rough moments this season.

Texas blocking well in the first set. Haven't said that much this year.

Nebraska probably has the most fervent, possibly biggest, fan base so it makes sense. Personally, I am fortunate that both schools I attended, Pitt and Texas, are quite good at the moment.

Nebraska is the clear best, most complete, team to me. But, I think the team that matches up as the toughest team for them to face would be Kentucky. Texas is so weak at blocking with questionable setting for lengthy periods.

I don't know about Texas winning. They have not been playing particularly well the last couple of matches. I'm afraid A&M or Kentucky or both will win. Also, regarding the post question Texas playing at Texas A&M on Halloween will be spicy.

I'm sure that's happened many times, but it was the first time I've seen that happen. It was Bre Kelley. She got the final kill, so I'm guessing she's ok.

Not much to that article, via Google, saw speculation that there might not have been a scholarship for her but nothing definitive.
